Creating a Work Order

How to create a Work Order

Updated over a week ago

The Whip Around 'Maintenance' module enables you to create work orders from your schedules and group faults to send to your mechanics for a seamless workflow. You can then have your mechanics, record parts and labor, add comments and upload receipts and photos.

To create a new work order you must be subscribed to Whip Around 'Maintain' and can then access 'Maintenance' module > select 'Work Orders' by logging in here.

Click on the 'Maintenance' module > select 'Work Orders' tab from the menu on the left.

Click on '+ Create Work Order' button.

The Create a Work Order model will pop up.

  • First select the vehicle you want to create a work order for

  • You will then see a list of any services or faults relating to that vehicle

  • Add the service and faults you require to the work order.

  • Select the book in date

  • Assign to mechanic

Note: Service ID starts with SE and Fault ID starts with FA
